These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Maxi Cab Melbourne services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
Booking and Confirmation
- Bookings can be made online, by phone, or by email
- Bookings are confirmed upon our acknowledgment
- We recommend booking in advance, especially for airport transfers and special events
- Immediate bookings are subject to vehicle availability
Fares and Payment
- Fares are quoted at the time of booking
- Quoted fares are fixed for the specified route
- Additional charges may apply for waiting time, extra stops, or route changes
- Payment is due at the end of the trip
- We accept cash, credit cards, and EFTPOS
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before pickup: No charge
- Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of quoted fare may apply
- No-shows: Full fare may be charged
- Airport bookings: Special cancellation terms may apply
Passenger Responsibilities
- Be ready at the designated pickup time and location
- Provide accurate contact and trip information
- Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
- No smoking in vehicles
- Wear seatbelts at all times
- Supervise children and ensure proper restraints
Our Responsibilities
- Provide safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles
- Employ licensed, professional drivers
- Arrive at the scheduled time (subject to traffic conditions)
- Handle your luggage with care
Liability
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- We are not responsible for items left in vehicles, though we will make reasonable efforts to return found items
- Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the service
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
